Indian Muslim body issues fatwa against Veena
The All India Muslim Tyohar Committee on Wednesday issued a fatwa against Pakistani actress Veena Malik over her "objectionable" photos on net and for degrading the sacred institution of 'nikah' by signing a contract to choose a groom on a reality show.
Sources said complaints over this were accumulating with the Majlis-e-Shura, the supreme body of the committee.
"We were getting complaints that the actions of this Pakistani actor were sending a wrong message to our teens, especially girls," said A S Khurram, chairman of the Majlis-e-Shura.
